English Breakfast in 1a

On Friday, 24th of February, our class had a real treat. Our English teacher hosted her “Traditional English Breakfast” for the whole class. Our phenomenal kitchen staff made sure everything was ready by 8:55. Our whole class went down to the cafeteria for a really filling breakfast. The cafeteria team had prepared sausages, strips of bacon and scrambled eggs; there were baked beans and fried tomatoes.

There was a great choice of toppings for the toast – salted butter, peanut butter (both smooth and crunchy), various jams and honey. There was even lemon curd, which was new to everybody. There were cold and hot beverages –orange juice and black tea. There was something for every taste.

The whole class really enjoyed this fun and delicious way to learn more about everyday life and traditions in England. We should definitely do that again. A big “Thank you” to Prof. Muilerman and the chefs for this great morning!
